ProCredit Bank Signs Memorandum for the Implementation of Instant GEL and Foreign Currency Transfer System – Soon, Customers Will Be Able to Make Transfers 24/7
ProCredit Bank, along with Bank of Georgia and other partner banks, has signed a memorandum regarding the implementation of a new instant GEL and foreign currency transfer system. The project, initiated by Bank of Georgia, will soon be available to customers of Bank of Georgia, ProCredit Bank, Basisbank, and Credo Bank.
ProCredit Bank is further developing its retail services and introducing innovations that make accessing banking services even easier. This innovative system will allow customers to make GEL and foreign currency transfers at unlimited frequency, using only a mobile phone number. Transfers will be possible at any time of day or night, and the money will instantly appear in the recipient's account. Customers will be able to make transfers in both local currency (GEL) and foreign currencies (EUR, USD).
"This innovation will have a major impact on the accessibility of banking services and the positive experience of our customers. Developing innovative, digital services is important to us, and therefore, we welcome the involvement of other banks in this process," said Alex Matuam, General Director of ProCredit Bank.
