ProCredit Bank hosted the participants of the Economic Policy and Reforms Bootcamp, the project implemented by the European Business Association (EBA) and supported by the USAID Economic Governance Program.
Within the frame of this event, USAID Economic Governance Program Chief of Party - Natalia Beruashvili and Irina Sak - CEO of the Publicis Group Caucasus and Deputy Chairwoman of the European Business Association - have also visited the German Bank.
Zeinab Lomashvili, Director of ProCredit Bank Georgia briefly introduced the bank's business strategy to the visitors. She also talked about ProCredit Bank Georgia’s a responsible financial institution, focused on long-term, sustainable development, emphasizing PCBG’s approach to staff as well as the environment. During the meeting, the Bank’s employees gave short presentations to the students. Members of HR Department introduced them to the bank’s Human Resource strategy and the unique employment opportunity offered by ProCredit, namely - the Onboarding Program... For many years, the 6-month program has opened opportunities for young people with different educational backgrounds and experience (including those having no experience) to learn more about the most important aspects of the financial system, get to know the PCB business model and become part of the German bank’s team.
Representatives of the environmental management unit introduced to the visitors the environmental management system implemented by the bank highlighting the objectives and results that PCBG has achieved in environmentally friendly practices.
The two-day event included presentations, as well as an eco-tour, with about 100 students visiting PCBG’s energy-efficient building - the first green office in Georgia, with international EDGE certification.
It is worth mentioning that PCBG and EBA have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, aimed at facilitating employment of the youth across the country.
